Basic Kesari Rava: Ingredients:
1 cup Goldenbansi’s Kesari (rawa)
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
1/4 teaspoon saffron strands
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
2 tablespoons chopped nuts (cashews, almonds, pistachios, etc.)
2 cups water
Instructions:
Heat ghee in a pan and roast the nuts until golden brown. Remove and keep them aside.
In the same pan, add semolina and roast on medium heat until it turns aromatic and light golden brown. Stir continuously to prevent burning.
In a separate small bowl, dissolve saffron strands in a tablespoon of warm milk.
Boil water in a saucepan. Once it starts boiling, gradually add the roasted semolina while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
Reduce the heat to low and cook the semolina for 2-3 minutes until it absorbs the water.
Add sugar, saffron milk, and cardamom powder to the pan. Mix well.
Cook for another 4-5 minutes until the sugar dissolves completely and the mixture thickens.
Add the roasted nuts and mix gently.
Remove from heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Pineapple Kesari Rava: Ingredients:
1 cup Goldenbansi’s Kesari (rawa)
1 cup sugar
