Sleeping with a Slim Light Pro Blanket is a soothing and relaxing therapy for people suffering from anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or insomnia. The infrared sauna blanket emits infrared radiation, which helps to reduce inflammation and increase blood flow and oxygen delivery to the muscles and tissues. Using an infrared sauna can also help to loosen up toxins and heavy metals that are causing pain.

The infrared sauna blanket is a two-layer blanket with an infrared heater at one end and a thin fabric covering the other. It has a control unit that allows you to set the temperature and time of the session. Depending on your needs, you may want to start with a lower temperature and longer time, as the intensity of the infrared heat will depend on your individual circumstances.
You can use an infrared sauna blanket on your own, but it's best to consult a doctor or occupational therapist before buying one. This will ensure that you're using the appropriate weight, which is a crucial step to making sure you receive all of its benefits.
Weighted blankets are used as an intervention for children with ADHD and sleeping difficulties. They are typically prescribed by healthcare professionals to promote emotional regulation, decrease impulsive behavior, and improve sleep. In addition, they are considered a safe and non-threatening tool for self-regulation that can be used without fear of causing harm to a child.
We aimed to evaluate how well weighted blankets promote everyday participation and improve emotional regulation in children with ADHD and sleeping difficulties. A total of 26 children with a diagnosis of ADHD aged 6-15 years (median age 10 years) were recruited to participate in the study.
During the 16-week intervention, we asked each child to use a weighted blanket for at least one night and provide feedback about their experiences. The results were analysed to determine how well weighted blankets improved sleeping patterns, arousal, and emotional regulation.

The main outcomes of the study were changes in sleeping patterns and arousal, which led to an improvement in emotional regulation and a reduction of impulsive behavior. These changes were experienced as a positive change in the children's everyday lives, improving their mood and increasing energy levels.
A number of children described a reduction in their anxiety and fear due to the weighted blanket's ability to regulate emotions, giving them a sense of safety and security. They felt that the weighted blanket gave them a feeling of calm and being able to suppress their fears in the dark, promoting better sleep.
Commitment to the weighted blanket was a key issue in the children's experience of using it, and they needed to be able to adapt to the weight. Some children were unable to commit to using the blanket and needed to try different blankets before they found one that worked for them. They were also hesitant to use the weighted blanket when other children were around, and were more resistant to trying it at home.
