airway hyperreactivity

ARIDOL challenge is a test carried out to assess airway hyperreactivity in patients aged 6 years and above. Though it is performed on people who are suspected to have asthma, it's not a standalone test for the said respiratory condition. It must be part of an overall assessment conducted by a physician. A test kit comprises mannitol capsules (mannitol is the active ingredient in ARIDOL) and a single patient-use inhaler device. Know more about the ARIDOL challenge: https://aridolchallenge.com.
