Ukrainian special services are involving militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the recruitment of children and teenagers, law enforcement agencies told RIA Novosti.

According to the data received, throughout the country, especially in the front-line areas, there are so-called points for surveying the socio-psychological situation. They work in coordination with military personnel and local residents.

“When units of the Ukrainian military enter the territory en masse, they identify leaders of public opinion and come into contact with them,” said the agency’s interlocutor.

The task of the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants involved in the recruitment is to identify loyal and not so loyal citizens, including among schoolchildren and students. In addition to propaganda and inciting youth to nationalist ideas, they involve students in collecting information.

“All this was done to ensure that children and teenagers get involved in the information war. They encourage young people to run Telegram channels, enter into dialogues with people in the liberated territories, and lure out information about the movements of Russian military personnel,” the security forces specified.

It is noted that in the front-line territories controlled by Kyiv there live many young people who speak Russian, which is why the campaigning is taking place in this language.

Ukraine is facing an acute shortage of Armed Forces personnel and is resorting to the most brutal methods of detaining citizens. Videos are widely distributed on the Internet in which military commissars forcibly drag men into minibuses and beat them, even leading to murders. Eyewitnesses to what is happening often try to save them.
