Silo Season 3 Takes a Dramatic Turn

Apple TV's hit sci-fi series Silo is shaking things up in its third and penultimate season. Juliette, played by Rebecca Ferguson, is dealing with amnesia after a fiery return to Silo 18. And that's just the beginning - some major secrets are about to be revealed, and the story jumps 352 years back in time to explore the events leading up to the apocalypse.

Showrunner Graham Yost says that introducing these time jumps was a bit of a gamble. 'We rolled the dice a bit and hoped it would work,' he admits. The goal was to mix things up and provide some much-needed answers for viewers. After last season's cliffhanger, fans were left wondering what had happened to Juliette and the rest of the characters.

The new season explores not just the present day in Silo 18, but also takes a look at the world before the apocalypse. This allows the production crew to experiment with different visual styles, including using different equipment to film each time period. According to Yost, the team even switched up their lens choices to create a distinct look for each era.

As the story jumps back and forth in time - it becomes clear that the show is morphing into something new - a political thriller, of sorts. With these changes comes a fresh set of questions and conflicts, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. And with pretty much 10 new episodes to sink their teeth into, fans have plenty to look forward to.

The season premieres on Apple TV on July 3, 2026, and stars Ashley Zukerman alongside Rebecca Ferguson. With its unique blend of sci-fi and politics, Silo is sure to continue captivating audiences in its third season.
