What do Kings of the past, Dictators care about the most? Their crown, their power obviously. And in a violent world with enemies everywhere, the loyalty of their subjects was of paramount importance to them. The subject’s morality and values counted for little. One could be a horrible person, a killer, a rapist but if that person is a loyal supporter, useful, then the King, Dictator will be happy to reward him! And we see this happening in Russia and North Korea! Despicable people with much blood on their hands being rewarded with high positions, given riches to live the good life. On the other hand, one could be the saintliest person but is such a person was deemed a threat to the crown or the Dictator, he or she would be killed!
