Necessitated by patriotism to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, allegiance to the interest of the Nigerian youth, fidelity to democracy and good governance, loyalty to the All Progressives Congress, and commitment to the realisation of the Renewed Hope agenda, we endorse and recommend Mr Dauda Adamu to Your Excellency for appointment as Minister of Youth.
Mr Dauda Adamu epitomises the unity and hope of the Nigerian youth, North and South, home and abroad, men and women, political and apolitical. He hails from Taraba State and is networked with broad extractions of the youth at subnational, national, and international levels. An intelligent and high-achieving millennial (Generation Y member), he is best suited, equipped, and prepared to represent the youth community on Your Excellency's cabinet. His political, social, and professional credentials and contributions to the All Progressives Congress and the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign bolster his credibility for appointment as Minister of Youth.
Your Excellency would treasure that Mr. Dauda Adamu blends progressive politics and technocratic excellence in his youth leadership and engagement philosophy, imparting patriotic ideas and rallying the trust and support of the Nigerian youth around Renewed Hope. He is a founding youth member of the All Progressives Congress and has been immersed in its service daily and via critical assignments. In particular, he served as Special Assistant to the APC National Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, the Muhammadu Buhari Presidential Campaign Council, the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, the APC National Convention, and multitudes of APC support groups, Primary Election and Congress committees in several States and the FCT.
Additionally, he holds a first degree in Banking and Finance from Igbinedion University and a Master's Degree in Management and Finance from the prestigious Birmingham City University (United Kingdom). He is a dynamic youth with many species of experience accumulated within and outside Nigeria across the fields of Banking, Management and Finance, Oil and Gas- refinery operations, Supply Chain Management, Marketing Management and Corporate Strategic Planning and Auditing.
Mr. Adamu's growth is impacted by Your Excellency's mentorship that harks back to your time as Governor of Lagos State in the early 2000s. During that time, you honorarily appointed Mr. Adamu a one-day Commissioner in Lagos State when his Secondary School (Lagos State Model College, Badore) produced the first female Spelling Bee champion and was honoured as The Governor of Lagos State. The appointment was part of your youth mentorship initiative, whose beneficiaries rank among the best brains in the country to date.
Furthermore, Mr Dauda Adamu is a unifying youth figure with multicultural social intelligence and the ability to blend and work with youth from all parts of Nigeria and across diverse endeavours. His social base traverses ethnic and religious diversities, domestic and foreign domains, gender hemispheres, and formal and informal sectors of society. His competence is broad-based and multidimensional. He has tremendous intelligence, work ethic, motivation, spirit, intuition, and dynamism necessary to oversee, coordinate, and accomplish the vision and policies of the government through the youth constituency.
Your Excellency, we emphasise the imperative of appointing Mr. Dauda Adamu as Minister of Youth for the optimum realisation of Renewed Hope via the Nigerian youth. We are confident that if assigned, he will discharge the functions of that office commendably and advance the present and future gains of your administration and the All Progressives Congress.
