The midfielder became just the fourth player to win all of the Premier League, Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup and World Cup.
We’ve taken a look at the four players that have won all four of these trophies.
Thierry Henry
Henry was part of the French team that won the 1998 World Cup on home soil and finished the tournament as top scorer with three goals. But he remained on the bench throughout their 3-0 victory over Brazil in the final.
“I never told this story, but I should have come out 10 minutes into the second half,” Henry said in 2006. “But then Marcel Desailly was removed and the plan changed.
“At the beginning of this tournament, the boss put in young people who were not scared, which was fine, but then he decided to go for experience in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.
“I was clearly disappointed that I didn’t come and try the World Cup final. But I still have a chance to lift the World Cup. I was 20 and played six games, so I can't be that upset."
A year later, the striker moved to Arsenal and won two Premier League titles at Highbury but just missed out on the Champions League after losing in the 2006 final against Barcelona.
As the old saying goes, if you can't beat them, join them, and in the summer of 2007 the striker left Arsenal for Barcelona.
He finally got his hands on the Champions League trophy after defeating Manchester United in the 2009 final and also won the Club World Cup a few months later.
Gerard Pique
A La Masia academy graduate, Pique left Barcelona for Manchester United in 2004 in search of regular first-team football.
He was part of the United side that won the Premier League and the Champions League in 2007-08, making 12 appearances in those competitions.
But the centre-back returned to boyhood club Barcelona and missed United’s Club World Cup win in December 2008.
Pique didn’t have to wait very long to get his hands on the trophy as Barcelona beat United in the 2009 Champions League final before overcoming Estudiantes at the Club World Cup.
The Spain international also started all seven matches at the 2010 World Cup and kept five clean sheets, including their 1-0 win over the Netherlands in the final.
He’s also won another two more Champions Leagues and two more Club World Cups since completing the set in 2010. Decent career, that.
Pedro
The third Barcelona player on this list, Pedro was promoted to the first team ahead of the 2008-09 season and was part of the team that won the treble.
He only made a cameo appearance against Manchester United in 2009, but scored in both the semi-final and final of the Club World Cup.
The winger was also named to Spain's squad for the 2010 World Cup and took out winner David Villa in the quarter-finals before starting in the semi-finals and final.
Pedro won another club world cup latest scores and two more Champions Leagues with Barcelona before signing for Chelsea in 2015.
He was Antonio Conte's key player when Chelsea won the Premier League in 2016/17 with nine goals and 10 assists in 35 league games.
N’Golo Kante
Kante was a relatively unknown 24-year-old when he joined Leicester City from League 1 side Caen in a £5.6m deal in 2015.
But he took the Premier League by storm and his brilliant performances helped Leicester climb from 17th place to the title in just 12 months.
The midfielder then joined Chelsea and played a vital role as they also won the Premier League, becoming the first player in history to win the title in consecutive seasons with different clubs.
He also moved up in the Champions League in 2021 by winning the Man of the Match award in the first leg semi-final, second leg semi-final and final.
The 31-year-old then joined that exclusive roster in February 2022 after helping Chelsea beat Palmeiras 2-1 in the Club World Cup final.
