AndamaneAse

The Great Beyond.

The Andamanese are an indigenous ethnic group that inhabit the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

These ancient tribes, numbering approximately 700 individuals, go by different names, such as the Sentinelese, guesstimated to number around 70; the Onges, 105; the Great Andamanese, 50; and about 520 Jarawas.

They've been the most misunderstood people on earth, consistently characterised as cannibals and savages, among other things, for over two centuries, ever since the British discovered their presence on the islands. Despite it all, they have survived into the 21st century and now face the thrust of modernity and definitely cultural and inevitable extinction.

AndamanEase is a Travel Agency located in Wandoor in the South Andamans, and our name is a tribute to them.

At AndamanEase, we believe where there's originality, there's life. The Andaman Islands. Here, you can feel the vibe and experience authenticity like never before, where nothing is by the book. It's one discovery after the other.

If Robinson Crusoe were stranded on an Indian island with dense tropical forests and Polynesian beaches, it would have to be the Smith and Ross Islands in the North Andamans or the secluded "lalaji bay" on Long Island, to name a few.

The Islands tick these prerequisites that we want to showcase.
