Code of Practice

1. Don't get attached to yourself, the rest will follow.
2. The world is abandoned with everything you need.
3. When you run, be the run running the run. Same for eating, drinking and all other activities.
4. Listen to your gut. Listen to your gut.
5. Bow to everything life brings.
6. Sleep is key.
7. Practice zazen in a form of shikantaza, or “just sitting.”
8. Go wander in the woods.
9. You can learn any new skill you want at any time.
10. Make each day a ritual, not a habit.
11. Train your endurance, e.g. take cold showers.
12. When you feel down: seek the addiction that's causing it.
13. If you don’t fit anywhere, find comfort everywhere.
14. Solitude is a treasure.
15. Never stop moving, so no society can shape you.
16. Don’t do it all alone.
