There are hundreds of known solitaires around the world. In fact, the BVS Solitaire Collection, a collection famous for its various solitaire games, has about 499 different variations, and you can't compare it to the total number of variations available, especially if you decide to play some games. Since it would be almost impossible for us to deal with all variations of Solitaire, we thought we should at least present the most common ones. If you're a big fan of online solitaire games, here are 5 typical solitaire game types:
1. Klondike
Klondike is the most popular version of Solitaire. The term "Solitaire" used alone generally refers to this game. Its origin is unknown, but it is likely that it first appeared during the 19th-century gold rush in the Klondike region of Canada, which is named after it. Its immense popularity is due to Microsoft's inclusion in Windows 3.0 in 1990. Klondike has a deck of 52 cards. The goal is to organize suit by suit starting with an ace and ending with a king in an empty space called a base.
The cards are divided into 7 piles on the playing field. All cards face down except for the first card in each deck. To access and open the bottom card, the player must create a sequence and move through the pile. The sequence of the table is created in descending order (from king to ace) and color change. Only the king can move into empty spaces in the arena.
Other cards not placed in the deck are placed in the supply pile. Players can use it to create their own sequences.
2. Freecell
Freecell Solitaire is one of my favorite games (after learning how to play) and very different from most solitaire games. For example, all cards are handled face-to-face and there are open slots for booking tickets. It goes without saying that you rarely encounter unsolvable games if you do it right. The probability of encountering a problem that cannot be solved is literally only one in a million. This is only 0.0008%!
Compare it to the percentage of unsolvable games (in the 10-30% range) for other types of solitaire (rough estimate, but get an idea). Of course, this means that if you can't fix the Freecell game, you're likely doing something wrong. There are no problems with PC games right now!
Similar to Spider Solitaire, this Solitaire variant became very popular on Windows as it was part of a free entertainment package.
3. Classic Solitaire
Solitaire or Patience is a classic card game for one player. Solitaire requires a standard 52 card deck and is suitable for ages 8+. The purpose of solitaire is to divide the deck of cards into 4 piles, one for each suit, in ascending order from ace to king. Players can perform three moves. Cards can be moved from deck to stack from table to base, cards can be moved from table to table, and cards can be moved from deck to table.
The base card must start with an ace and play in ascending order and must be the same suit. The cards in tableau must be arranged in descending order and alternately. Only the top card of the table pile can be moved to another pile. Only one of the three cards in your inventory can be used for the dashboard and foundation decks. When an offer is exhausted, it is replaced with a new offer. By rearranging the cards, the player tries to classify the game into 4 bases.
4. Pyramid Solitaire
When you're ready to play cards, the next game you'll encounter is Pyramid Solitaire. The only aspect that sets this card game apart is the frame. Here you have to shuffle the game as usual. After that you need to form a pyramid of cards. In the first row you need to place cards, after which you have to place two cards, then three, and therefore seven, to get the pyramid structure. The rest of the cards must be placed in the deck to be used throughout the game.
5. Golf Solitaire
There are 52 cards in Golf Solitaire, 35 of which are divided into 7 rows. In each row there are 5 overlapping cards. In addition to this, five cards are placed in the waste pile and the pending cards are kept in stock. In this game, you have to turn the seven lines into a pile of garbage in the limited time possible. In the garbage heap, a person can also follow in descending or ascending order.
