As we all know what happens in Mahabharatbut most of you may not know the reason why it has happened. The reason this happens is nothing but revenge. Which Shakuni(Mama) took from Kauravas by bringing them in the Kurukshetra War. Before I start the reason I also want to tell you that Shakuni was the prince of Gandhara Kingdom and Subalawas the king of that Small Kingdom. Subalawas having 100 kids in which and Shakuni was the last one from them, also he was a younger brother of Gandhar. He was well known for his sharp brain. Because of his sharpness, he was a very close and loving son for king Subual.

He was the one who teaches the manipulation to Kauravas. He was the one who helped Kauravas to end the game of Pandavas. Because of his manipulation, Kauravas attacked Pandavas, and soon it got converted into war. That’s the reason Shakuni was the mastermind of Mahabharat Katha. But there are a few facts which may know one known about Shakuni and the reason behind all this. This I am going to share with you further in this article.
The fact which no one knows is, Shakuni had created a love against Kauravas but this is not true. He wants to destroy the whole empire of Kauravas because he wants to take revenge. There are two main reasons he wants to do that was;
Gandhara Kingdom DEMOLISH
Gandhari the sister of Shakuni, was so beautiful that everyone was aware of it. Because of that BhishmaPitama wants Dhritarashtra to get married to Gandhari. But initially, they denied and the reason for that was Dhritarashtra was blind. After knowing the reason BhishmaPitama gave intimation and ask to marry of he will attack them. Everyone was aware of the power due to which he agrees to the marriage. But the fact which no one was aware of Gandhari, which they came to know, she was a widow.
After known this fact King Dhritarashtra was so angry and claimed that King Subalais the one who hid the truth. To punish them he punished King Subalaand his family for life imprisonment. Still, King Dhritarashtra was not satisfied with this, so he came up with a new way to punish him. Between all of them, he was just giving them a bowl of rice to eat which was not sufficient for all of them. So King Subaladecided to feed all that food to his smallest son (Sakuni). The day becomes when King Subalawas on his last breath and he gave his small body bones. Sakuni converted that bone into dice and he always uses that when he plays gambling. Not only that he has also seen his whole family dying in front of him, one by one. This is the main reason for revenge when King Subalawas on the edge of his life. He asked King Dhritarashtra to take Sakuni out of the prison and add in his family.
Gandhari BLIND
Sakuni loves his sister a lot and he was also against the marriage of his sister with Dhritarashtra. Even he has to kneel down in front of BhishmaPitama’s Power. So Gandhari agreed to this marriage as his father agrees to it. Because of this Sakuni was too much in pain & anger. Because of this, he hearted himself by putting a knife in his thigh. This he did to keep him aware of his revenge. As we all know Gandhari was a true wife and keep that, she had decided to go blindfolded for a lifetime. When Sakuni came to know this, he became angrier.
Conclusion
This is the reason Shakuni mama manipulated Kauravas against Pandavas. This will bring them to war and this way Kauravas empire will come to end. Personally, Shakuni does not have any grudge against Pandavas. This is the Mahabharata secret and the reason this war took place.
