My sweet and fine wine.
Iโm not just saying these flattering words to get you excited, but Iโm saying them because Iโm excited. Iโve been filled with so much energy in the past few days that Iโm actually shy of it (but not in a bad way - Iโm just in shock).
Anyway, I wouldnโt say that โIโm in love with youโ because itโs factually and grammatically incoherent. Rather, I will say that I am intensely infatuated by you. I find myself fighting off my strong attraction and desire for you. I find myself constantly thinking about you - and sometimes these thoughts get drenched in lustful passions that overwhelm me.
But I then remember who you are at your core; the part of you that first drew me in and I begin to see how much grace you are covered in. I see how much you have allowed yourself to be washed in the Word and acknowledged your yielding to ABBA's love. I can strongly relate to how life-changing that can be.
In this culturally acclaimed season of love, I write as inspired by my muse. But even when the season is long behind us, I stand by my affirmations of love for you.
In kindness, I will care for you.
With patience and gentleness, I will bond with you.
With joy, I will celebrate you in all that is good,
By the Perfect Peace of Christ, I will be with you in stillness and in turbulence.
With forbearance and self-control, I will guard my passions.
And in faithfulness, I will love you and grow with you on this journey to wholeness.
