SSC: Revision Tips

Candidates in their last days of preparation always get confused about what to do and what not to. Candidates can follow some given tips which can be helpful for them to get focussed and prepare for the SSC Examination:

  • Syllabus List: Make a list of all the topics that you have covered so far in your SSC syllabus. From that list start making quick revisions of each topic in the given time as soon as possible.
  • Mocks: Mocks are building blocks of preparation for every examination. Candidates start solving mocks and try to solve at least one mocks per week within the last month and daily one sectional mock. Candidates can consider the previous year’s SSC paper also.
  • Daily Current Affairs and Newspaper: As this is a government job paper, candidates should work on their general knowledge and general awareness. Candidates can refer to a lot of free material or sources available on the internet.
  • Formula Book: For mathematics, candidates should make a small notebook of all the formulas topic wise which can be helpful in the last days of preparation.
  • Be positive: Candidates should need to remain focused and never give up or get discouraged at any point in time. Last month is the high time for any candidate to excel in the examination. More than 10 lakhs candidates appear and less than 1% of the candidates are recruited thus there is no regret or anything. It is the preparation that matters, if any candidates not selected can consider any other examination to give or to try again because they have already prepared thus giving their best.
