The Basics
A bridal choker is a necklace worn by some brides during their wedding ceremony. It is usually made out of pearls, diamonds, or other precious stones. Bridal chokers come in different styles, shapes, and sizes. They can also be made with different materials such as gold, silver, or platinum.
Types of Chokers
There are three main types of chokers: pearl, diamond, and rope. Pearl chokers are often made of freshwater cultured pearls. Diamond chokers are typically made of white or yellow diamonds. Rope chokers are made of strands of pearls, diamonds, or other gemstones.
Necklace Length
A necklace should be worn at least one finger width below the collarbone. If you wear a large pendant, make sure it does not hang too low.
Chain Type

Clasp Style
A chain length refers to how far apart the clasps are. If the clasps are closer together, then the necklace will appear shorter than if the clasps are farther apart. This is because when the clasps are close together, the necklace appears more narrow.
