The evolution of the soul is exceedingly beautiful and transformative and has an enlightening nature. But spiritual awakening & emotional overwhelm often occur together for many individuals. As we wake and, in one way or another, strip away old skins and find some degree of balance between the ancient ways and the new data, emotions that have been cast aside can suddenly arise.
At Find A New Way, we believe GROWTH IS TOUGH. And waking is inevitably accompanied by some confusion and fatigue and in some cases loneliness. “It’s knowing what is going on aerobically and then being able to use that knowledge to navigate purposefully with strength.”
What Is a Spiritual Awakening?
A spiritual awakening is a paradigm shift of consciousness a new experience from which you were born and the reason why you are here. You may begin to question everything you know, notice synchronistic events in your life, or feel awakened to a greater meaning and purpose.
But it also starts to show you suppressed emotions and unresolved experiences bubbling up as your awareness and observation expands. This is where awakening and emotional overwhelm meet. Letting go of old identities and awakened repressed feelings can produce emotional friction in the now.
It is not to say that there is anything wrong. That typically means movement is occurring.
Why Emotional Overwhelm Happens
An awakening is an inner world call to get your what the universe created you for. Coping strategies that have been effective for years may cease to work. You might notice your emotional terrain swinging, that you’re hypersensitive and anxious or longing to retreat into deep emotional introspection.
That opens to expand, for spiritual awakening & emotional overwhelm. The nervous system can have a lot to work with when we begin releasing limiting beliefs, attachments or old stories. That can feel unsettling (if, poorly supported).
In Find A Yew Way, we guide you through grounding practices and tools for emotion regulation that will prepare you to learn how to put the wonder in wandering mindfully during this stage of life.
Finding Balance During the Process
The trick, though, isn’t to stuff those feelings down; it’s to find a way to redirect them into meaningful action. This balance of knowing that can guide, action reflected to our ideals and kindness company leads us toward themselves integration rather than confusion.
As you recognize that both spiritual awakening & emotional overwhelm are smaller pieces to a greater growth curve, you can react with patience instead of fear. Mindfulness, journaling, breathwork and regular therapy coverage are all ways that help ground you while still evolving.
You are not supposed to do deep change by yourself.
Moving Forward with Support
Our process of spiritual transformation is rooted and nourished by emotional awareness. Find A New Way merges those wise insights with a steady, grounded perspective at the Spirit Growth Journey through and beyond your most difficult relationship.
We say if you just muddy out all the fancy sense and extra soul with overdoing it in such a way that everything is too funny or makes you sick, just go back to smoothness, to painting again in colors and find purity. Awakening in the presence of a positive support is more than just an interruption. It’s an opening into greater magnitudes of strength and presence.
