Michael Farrell was recently hired by West Star Aviation to work as an information technology support specialist at the East Alton facility located at St. Louis Regional Airport.
Farrell has worked in the aviation industry for a number of years, the majority of which were spent at Mid Coast and Elliot Aviation. Since 2010, when he started working for West Star, his position was that of a finish technician; since then, he has worked his way up the company's hierarchy.
"Mike has an outstanding work ethic and is eager to learn more about the information technology (IT) side of aviation. He has a strong passion and personal interest in the information technology field that will benefit West Star and the IT team," said Nic Tenthorey, who is the leader of the IT support team. "The IT team will benefit from Mike's contributions because he will benefit the IT team."
According to Farrell, "I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to expand my career within West Star while continuing to work with my incredible team members."
