Introduction

Aslaam O Alaikam, I am Asrar Tariq born, studied, working and living in Kasur. I want to promote my city and tehsils of Kasur.

According to Sanskrit & Ramayana, Kasur was founded by twin brother of Lava Prince Kusha and Lava is founder of Lavapuri currently named as Lahore. Kasur is conquered by time by time different emperor like Maurya, Gupta Empire, Sikhs, Mughals etc.

At the time of separation of Indo-Pak subcontinent in 1947 Kasur was the tehsil of the Lahore while 1st July 1976 it became district under Lahore division. District Boundaries Line touch to Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara and India’s Ferozepur city. On 2017 census, its number is 24 with the population of 3.5 million.

Major industries & crops are cotton, tent, leather, cloth, canvas, milk, turmeric, guava, wheat, shoes and many more.
