The new Hyundai IONIQ 5 electric SUV

The new Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric SUV has been officially launched. It will have 2 kinds of batteries and 2 electric motors; they can give a range of about 480 km with a single charge. Ioniq 5 comes to self-charging, the 800v battery manages to recover 100 km in just 5 minutes when a 350kW charger is used, and in 18 minutes the battery jumps from 10% to 80%.

The new Ioniq 5 electric SUV is a competitor to the Volkswagen ID4 or Skoda Enyaq iV.

The new Ioniq 5 will be able to slide front and back, offering both storage space and bottle holders and glasses. What's really cool is that it will be able to allow rear passengers to get down through the front doors. The front seats are electrically adjustable and can move almost vertically, while being about 30% thinner than Hyundai models, giving more space to the rear passengers.

The new Hyundai IONIQ 5 electric SUV with a single motor and 58kWh battery produces 170 hp while with 2 motors it can reach 235 hp. The IONIQ 5 Long Range version equipped with a single engine and 72.6kWh battery can produce 218 hp and dual-engine 306 hp.
