Harriet Freedman, Hardy Elementary Speech Language Therapist

Ann joined the nursing department as the first full time nurse at PAWS in 2014. Her clinical knowledge and expertise in early childhood development laid the foundation for the critical need for school nurse involvement with our youngest of learners. On any day, “Nurse Ann” could be found greeting students as they started their day, observing students in the classroom or participating in meetings involving students with complex medical issues. Her calm manner, professionalism and expertise carved a pathway for a strong bond with her students and families. She leaves behind a huge legacy not only with the PAWS community but with the entire WPS community. We say thank you for your dedication and devotion to the health, safety and well-being of children and wish you happiness and fulfillment as you begin another exciting chapter.
