“ Pandemic: Echoes of Change”

Born and raised in UP West, Andleeb Kamal is a student and a poet. She has always been fascinated by rocket science and the creativity in everyday advertisements. She studied Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Brand Management and Communication at Teerthanker Mahaveer University in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.
When most of her classes moved online due to the pandemic, she used the extra time to take online courses outside her curriculum. She completed a course in Digital Marketing and a postgraduate diploma in Travel and Tourism from Jamia Millia Islamia University. She also worked with Ivory Publication during this time. Now, she’s pursuing an Executive MBA from Jamia Millia Islamia University.
Andleeb started writing at a young age. She aims to be strong and express her deep thoughts and feelings through her writing. Her dreams are to succeed and spread happiness like birds flying in the sky. Even though she faces challenges and recalls past hurts, they inspire her to write and share her sorrows on paper.
She loves writing poems and short stories. Her poems express her emotions, while her stories share her experiences. Writing is more than just expressing herself; it’s a way to convey feelings she can’t express verbally. She believes in the freedom of expression and hopes to elevate Ink Freedom Publication to promote creative writing.
During the pandemic, life was different. People stayed inside and missed their freedom. But outside, nature was alive, with birds flying and the air feeling fresh.
There was a girl in the middle of it all. She felt many things — missing her college days, wanting to see her friends, and feeling like time was stuck. Writing helped her share her feelings and dreams.
When the lockdown ended, life felt normal again. She met her friends, happy but also sad for the time lost.
Life kept going. She fell in love, got married, and became a mom. But she always remembered the past and hoped for the future.
Years later, she told her daughter about her life. Her daughter admired her strength and asked how she did it.
The mom teared up and said, “I did it all for you. I want your future to be bright.”
The daughter hugged her tight, promising to never forget her friends or her mom. At night, the mom’s lullaby helped her daughter sleep peacefully.
And that’s how the story ended, with a child’s innocence embraced by the calm of the night.
