Rakshabandhan is the festival which is marked by the tying of a kids rakhi by the sister on the wrist of her brother. The custom of celebrating Raksha Bandhan started in ancestral period and even today people consider it must to express their affection in traditional manner. Every year mostly in the month of August, on the auspicious day of Shravana Purnima, the festival of Rakshabandhan is celebrated.
