Fire Under the Wings.

“I’m sorry, you’re talking to the wrong man. I’m the handsome hero. The dark and mysterious is a few streets away.”

Eighty years ago, on the night of June 27, a couple of parents were brutally murdered in cold blood, in an event that destroyed the life of their only son. Orphan, the boy grew up marked by this tragedy, but instead of being consumed by pain, he turned his loss into strength. His name was Khalil Ulrick Grayson, and he would become the first Robin, the most skilled and fearless young hero in the DC universe.

While Batman was characterized by his darkness and coldness, Robin was his complete opposite. Wearing a vibrant uniform and always with a smile on his face, Robin brought light to a world dominated by shadows. Unlike Bruce Wayne, whose life was defined by tragedy, Khalil did not allow the loss of his parents to define him. He made jokes during the battles, breaking the tension with his light humor, even if sometimes dull, pulling laughter from his colleagues and even enemies.

Robin was not just a shadow of Batman - he was the embodiment of balance. He knew when it was time to fight and, when he did, his blows were precise and powerful. But he also knew how to live and enjoy the moments, without being consumed by the weight of revenge or the darkness that surrounded Gotham. Although he missed his parents, his pain never dominated him. He was in a healthier, more balanced mental state, something that Batman, with all his experience, never seemed to achieve.

Over the years, Khalil evolved, leaving behind Robin’s mantle and assuming his own identity as Nightwing. As a symbol of resilience and courage, he became more than just a hero alongside the Dark Knight - he became a legend in his own right, proving that it is possible to grow in the midst of tragedy and still keep the light on.

Khalil, still young among the members of the New Titans, could never imagine how much his life was about to change when he met a figure who would transcend any expectation. During a mission with the team, he was introduced to a renowned alien, known for her strength and charisma: Morgan Von Schweetz, better known as Estelar.
Estelar was one of the most popular and admired heroines of the Justice League, a warrior princess of the planet Tamaran, whose superhuman abilities and beauty radiated a unique energy. Khalil was immediately impressed by his presence, but at that moment, he had no idea that he would be more than just a battle colleague.

Their relationship evolved naturally, with the friendship blooming in something deeper. Khalil felt a special connection with Estelar, something that went beyond battles and strategic conversations. And he, in return, began to realize that, behind Khalil’s determination and talent, there was a kindness that captivated her.
Over time, Khalil and Morgan became inseparable. In the missions of the New Titans, they formed an unbeatable duo, understanding each other with a simple look. Outside the battlefield, they shared laughter, confidences and moments of calm, in which they could only be Khalil and Morgan, without the burdens of their heroic titles.
