In fact, it is so unique among months in this respect, that February is the only month that might never have a full moon. This is because the extra day (leap day) which is added to February every four years may always cause it to have 29 days instead of 30 days. But in 2020, the month will be even more unique than usual in that it will not only have 29 days but also an extra day (leap day), which has never happened before.
