If you're trying to put together a list of things in an Excel spreadsheet, chances are you'll eventually want to sort that data into different columns and rows, such as a list of countries and the number of residents in each country. But there's a simpler way. With conditional formatting, you can apply rules to data in an Excel spreadsheet based on certain criteria.

For example, you could set up a rule to color the cell yellow if the value is above 20 or below 50. If you wanted to sort your data automatically by country, you could then click on the cells with numbers in them, select Format Cells from the Home tab, and choose a new format for that column. Click OK.

If you have some data in the excel sheet and you want to divide it into multiple rows then you need to manually enter the data. You also know how to do factors in excel like factor of 29, etc.
