The Philharmonia is one of the albums that is considered closer to the late part of Gleb's work. That's why some fans don't like this piece. After all, this album is very different from the musician's early work. It doesn't have the gloomy atmosphere that some of the audience loved Gleb for. But despite this, the album is decent. Great atmosphere, vibe. It's even hard for me to describe him.
But it causes incredible sensations. With all this, it sounds very expensive. The sound quality, the selection of instruments, and the overall musical accompaniment are unreal, and everything is in harmony. Gleb's voice fits perfectly here, too.
The cover is also incredible. This atmosphere is fascinating (well, at least to me for sure). Few people know what is special about this cover, where it was made and what facts it is related to. Well, that's a different story.
But that's not the only thing that got me hooked on this album. Let's return to the atmosphere and the sensations. As for me, the album fits any mood. He embodies a borderline state of pleasant light sadness, as if something is between something joyful and sad at the same time. But overall, it feels good. Maybe it's partly nostalgia for the good times. But maybe it's just me.
I've heard a lot about how others associate this album with clear, sunny weather, sometimes even winter weather. Frost and sun. I kind of agree with that. But I prefer listening to the Philharmonic on a pleasant autumn cloudy day.
Therefore, it seems to me that the Philharmonia can be a universal album in this sense. After all, it is pleasant for me to listen to it both in sadness, and in joy, and in rain, and in sunny weather.
