Why You Choose Permablend Pigments?

Permanent makeup and beauty tattooing has continuously grown in popularity among people seeking to achieve their beauty aspirations. People are always wondering about how semi-permanent makeup works and how these colors are developed to fit and increase natural skin tones before going underneath the needle. Permablend Pigment offers pigments that can adjust colors to settle in your skin.

Why You Choose Permablend Pigments

Permablend Pigments were, sadly, not the first line we used on our clients. When we first began our career, we had little to no training on color theory and pigment, and blindly used what our trainer told us to use! Those pigments thereafter shifted to unnatural colors quickly under the skin. When those clients began returning for their touch ups, we quickly understood there was a problem and began researching the color theory. I tried out a few different ink lines, all recommended to us from artists we commend. However, even with proper color theory and education, we continuously noticed a color shift after just a few months with the pigment lines We were using. We realized then, that the pigment bases in the inks we were using were not stable. The yellows, or reds, or blacks being unsteady and bring about pink, orange, or blue brow even after the client followed proper aftercare.

It was around this time we discovered Permablend. We ordered just a few pigments. We found the consistency to be different from the others, a little thinner and more difficult to work with. But after our clients began returning for touch ups, We knew it was the line we had been dreaming of. Barely any of our clients returning for a touch up even needed one! We were then good to make a touch up non “mandatory”, charging for 6-8 week touch ups, as they would only be required if the client wanted something thicker, black, or more dramatic than what they wanted the first session.
