Quality facial skin care: how to choose cleansers and tonics
Contrary to popular belief, washing with water does not cleanse. Soap is also not good, it changes the natural slightly acidic pH towards alkaline. This weakens the protective functions of the skin and destroys the lipids that protect it. The result is dryness, early wrinkles and sensitivity.
For cleansing, choose the skin care products that
• act carefully, with natural ingredients and without aggressive surfactants;
• suitable for the type and condition of the skin;
• do not contain allergens, especially if your skin is sensitive.
Types of cleansing cosmetics.
• Washing gels. Ideal for normal and combination skin. A few drops of the product are distributed with massage movements and washed off with water at room temperature, too hot or cold will cause irritation.
• Milk.
