Should I go to an event I don't want to go to for the sake of preserving a friendship that I'm not even sure would survive in the future? I've always been the one to attend the events she invites me to but it's rarely vice versa. Anytime I ask her to go hiking or to the movies, it's a quick assertive NO. Should I just do the same and say NO anytime I don't want to go or do something? This event might be more special to her though since she is participating in it. What a big ass pickle
