Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed Review - the best 4v1 multiplayer game

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is a tribute to the excellent franchise we all enjoyed. Some other games based on major IPs can be swing-and-miss, but not this one. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is exactly how it was supposed to be, with excellent gameplay and realistic (as seen in the movies) characters and gear. It's exciting to see some of the show's designs and styles being incorporated into Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed. You can change them anytime while in the firehouse which serves as the main hub of the game. You may own some unusual objects, such as dinosaur statues, and even spew slime over all Ghostbusters, but it's not often that players make fun of ghosts.

Simply put, Ghostbusters needs to be somewhat ridiculous in a positive way, and developers caught that feeling. I was able to win my game as the ghost against a team of Ghostbusters. The ghost's gameplay should be aggressive. By attacking every dull inanimate object that you saw until the entire museum appeared like a magical show I managed to win. But I have to say that it is very balanced despite its asymmetrical 4v1 gameplay. This is an important feature that not many games were able to achieve. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is the best when played multiplayer 4v1, but it also has a single-player campaign mode. Hopefully, the developers will add more content in the following months, as you will finish it rather quickly.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed - a fun FPS game

The Ghostbusters gameplay is inspired by the concept of a first-person shooter. The ghosts are controlled from the perspective of a third person. It is an action-adventure shooter, in case we have to put a label on it. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is one of the games I enjoyed most recently. It has that nostalgic vibe. When I was a kid I was born in the heyday of the history of Ghostbusters fandom. You can be a Ghostbuster or take on the role of a terrifying Ghost against your fellow players. Of the 50 available levels, I'm currently at 43 after about 15 hours of gameplay. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed does effectively emulate the style and look of the original series. It is a game that captures the spirit of Ghostbusters in the gameplay. You will have great fun with Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed.

The gameplay has been improved and refined in a pleasant way that includes four playable characters and highly customizable busters (in a way that RPG games are). Ghostbusters or "Busters" fight the ghost, which is also a player-controlled character. Usually, the 4v1 asymmetrical games are unbalanced but Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is not that way. You have your chances playing either way. The Ghostbusters equipment is fantastic and very movie-like. It was recreated in the game very well, which is a weird way that makes the game more realistic. All Ghostbusters' gear serves the process of actually taking down ghosts. Because ghosts can create chaos in a negative manner. Indeed, playing as a ghost could be a lot of fun as you will get to do a lot of naughty things.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed - Conclusion

It's shocking how intense the game can get because matchmaking does a great job of bringing together the players. On first look, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed looks simple in its design as well as the gameplay components however, underneath is a game that lets you play out your dream that you could be a member of the famous team, but also engage in a variety of fun as an ethereal being. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is a much more enjoyable experience playing with your friends and hunting one another than playing single-player, but both options are available. However, I suggest you buy this game for its 4v1 multiplayer mode more than anything. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is an excellent action shooter that will satisfy more than the fan base.
