The Concept of AI can seem new because it is introduced to the general public or to the masses in the recent years. But the concept is quite old actually. This article is clarifies what the damn AI is! And It Classification. So that the people who are new on this topic or students who wants to better understand the topic but can’t find proper resource can read this article and thus make an understanding about what AI is and What are it’s parts. According to Wikipendia AI means, Artificial Intelligence(AI) demonstrated by machines.
Simple Words: AI is just the updated version of Algorithm. And Forget the rest because it is created for academics in academic language.
Leading AI textbooks defines AI as ‘Intelligent Agents’ There are some aspects of AI for which it is compared with the human intelligence and it is nothing but the cognitive side of human brain. The aspects are;
1.Learning
2.Problem Solving
But there is thin line. Beacause we live in the world where machines has become really capable of doing many things efficently. Thus it will be utterly stupid to compare every skillful machines as AI. And for the record we academics are not bastards or damns who are out of their mind. So, there is a thin line which we draw in order to consider what is real intelligence?
To Find out what real intelligence is we need to use Tesler’s Theorem. According to Tesler, AI is whatever hasn’t been done yet.
One of the prime example of AI in modern times is, Understaning Human Language.
So, Let’s be honest and I admit if I take it too far you all will say it is not anymore a general article rather it has been a academic thesis’s summary. So, I will explain to all of you the classifications of AI.
These are the 3 types of AI;
- Artificial narrow intelligence (ANI), which has a narrow range of abilities
- Artificial general intelligence (AGI), which is on par with human capabilities
- Artificial superintelligence (ASI), which is more capable than a human
Artificial narrow Intelligence:
Mmmmm, It is weak AI. Which means it is not your sci-fi world destroying evil rouge AI. Okay! It is considered as weak AI because it has many limitations and aka it actually is program. It can’t do many things. It is just a program with hint of database. Game Over! e.g: Facial Recognition and so on.
Artificial General Intelligence:
It is considered as Strong AI. Because it can learn using it’s database and through it’s surroundings. Thus it can make human alike judgements and decisions. The amazing ability of AGI is that they can have the ability of Cognitive Feature. By the way it is the most important or one of the most important feature of Human Being. It helps us human beings to make decisions based on our surroundings. So, An AI Which has this same feature is considered as a Strong AI.

Artificial Super Intelligence:
Now, It becomes scary. The sci-fi AI you had been waiting for is here. It is called ASI. Which is a super fiction AI. Which is not yet seen in the present days. It is hypothetical AI. Which can surpress human intelligence and be self-aware. It can make our destruction. And That is how we make the end of our topic.
