ELR - Nice to meet you Monty, I believe you're having a wonderful day, so tell me about your country. Where are you from?
- Montana: Nice to meet you too! I'm from Azerbaijan
ELR - We're very glad to have you here. Azerbaijan must be a wonderful country. Anyways let's move on to the main topic. How did you get to know about this game Modern Warships?
- Montana: I was always passionate about battleships and naval battles. One day I found a Modern Warships video on YouTube and fell in love.
ELR - Fascinating! And that caught your attention? Like which feature(s) or aspect(s) of the game you liked the most?
- Montana: The beautiful visuals and graphics, gamestyle, competitions, making friends, atmosphere and etc. so many more to mention but these things attracted me the most.
ELR - Tell me about your favorite ship class. Like Destroyers? Carriers? Submarines?
- Montana: Generally I play with every class. But my favorite is Destroyer. For me this class is easy to learn and more balanced than other classes.
ELR - Do you have a favorite ship? Which one?
- Montana: This is a difficult question actually because every month new ships are coming and destroyers are there too. Some destroyers that we love are getting old and obsolete. But some of them are still useful and the experts still use them. These are Zumwalt, Basisty, Project 2145, CN type 052DM, Kylin etc.
ELR - What do you like the most about this/these ship(s)?
- Montana: As I've mentioned earlier, these ships are very balanced and perform greatly in battles. Of course the captain must be skilled but their ship itself must be strong enough too. I love the versatility and usefulness of these ships. No wonder they're so popular.
ELR - Tell me about your playstyle. Are you a rusher? Or sniper? Spammer? Camper? Nuker?
- Montana: I love playing tactically, and I am always exercising in matches. Of course there are lots of players with a variety of playstyles, especially missile spammers but I think everyone is free to play however they want.
ELR - My favorite map is old storm. What's yours?
- Montana: My favourite map is Greenlands. This map is neither too big nor too small. Since the beginning of my journey in MW waters, I always tried playing in Greenlands.
ELR - Have you ever defeated a high tier player? How did you feel after that?
- Montana: When I was an average level player like around 34-35, I always gave my best against high level players. And when I defeated them, I felt a boost in my self confidence. Nowadays I team up with and against more skilled players. I could learn a lot of tactics and playstyle by doing so.
ELR - What's your ideal squad size? 1v1? 3v3? 5v5? - Montana: My ideal squad is 3vs3. This is for random matches. But for big tournaments i like 5vs5 because this requires maximum team work.
ELR - Do you consider yourself a casual player or a hyper competitive?
- Montana: Hyper competitive obviously. Doesnt matter if I lose or win but I will fight until the last digit of hp, I won't give up. Before the match I always fight against my fear. Sometimes this is more important than the battles.
ELR - Does the game perform well on your device?
- Montana: Yes. My first battles were on android phone. Later bought a gaming laptop and that helped me a lot to feel the real mw atmosphere and better performance.
ELR - Are you interested in playing tournaments?
- Montana: Yes, like whenever I'm free, I'm down for tournaments. I accept tour invitations from my friends too. Last summer I played 6 tours and won 4 of them. Nowadays for my university and career, I barely get free time, but I'm always helping my buddies in tours, whether by teaching them tactics or suggesting better equipments, when it works, it makes me happy fr.
- ELR - Is there anyone or clan that you'd like to defeat in a tour?
Montana: There are some strong clans such as Ceterl, ICF, Zenith, Legend, Meta etc. These clans are very competitive in tournaments that I'd like to beat.
ELR - Why do you want to join us? - Montana: The current clan that I joined is created by the player TIGER. He is one of the members of Master clan that performed greatly in Heritage Heroes tournament. So i thought about helping him to grow his clan. Also there are a lot of talented players in Aether, some of them are Non-titled. I wanted to train them and help in tours.
ELR - What's your take on our alliance with other clans?
- Montana: I think that's great. Alliances can take an important role in a clan's government. They can arrange joint naval exercises, play tours together and chill.
ELR - Aether clan is very conservative. Our admirals are very kind and friendly but we're also serious and strict when necessary. We expect you to be subservient to the admirals and team leaders and be respectful of everyone because we're a family. Love and respect is our number 1 rule. You good with that?
- Montana: I believe respect within clan members is vital. Also communication is key, as it helps a lot in predicting, understanding and synchronization within the team.
ELR - Also if you leave our clan, you'll get perma ban from the clan and server. Violations to other rules can be pardoned but departure won't be. Understood?
- Montana: We dont know the future, but I am not thinking about leaving for now so yes.
