Hello Everyone…I don't know if I'm the only someone who feels like this, but I've never really been an expert at home decor. Most of the time, I always find that with the soaring prices of decor accents, DIY is the only option that you can have if you are on a tight budget.

However, not everyone has a knack for creativity and handiwork! In fact, even I am one of those people who prefer looking for special deals and offers on affordable home decor & furniture products that not only help us avoid the trouble to make a mess with all the DIY but also are comfortable and quicker as well. So, if you're thinking about updating your bedroom, I hope the decor ramblings and tips can be of use!
As I'm thankfully working from home, I thought it was about time I gave my bedroom a revamp that reflected my tastes now. Fortunately, I had a bit of money to spare but I wanted to make sure I got as much out of it as possible!

So, The first step towards my new super stylish bedroom makeover was :
Step 1: The Color Switch!

Honestly, the color choice depends upon the theme you decide or the type of decor you plan. Instead of bold primary colors, I prefer to choose soothing shades and a restful palette of calming shades. Comfy and neutral shades of blue, lavender, or green are considered calm and serene. They help set the mood of coziness and comfort.
Try to use toned-down versions of your favorite colors in the bedroom!
Now that the color switch is taken care of, we move on to the next step which makes you think about a major question…. What should I actually buy when on a tight budget? What furnishings are essential and which ones are not? This brings me to the second & most important tip!
Step 2: Furnish Your Room With ONLY What You Need!

When sticking to a budget, your bedroom should look cozy and simple, sophisticated, and elegant, regardless of what style of decorating you choose. For ease of movement, leave a minimum of three feet between the bed and side walls or large pieces of furniture and at least two feet between the bed and low furniture, like tables and dressers. If you have to walk around the bed to get from the closet to the bathroom, think of how you can move the bed.
I chose a bed, a side table, a dresser, and a chair from Casagear which are absolute necessities. Adding anything else is irrelevant and counts as an extra expenditure. After browsing a lot of products from the extensive catalog, I found a bed, side table, and a dresser at an affordable rate to revamp my room.
I kept accessories to a minimum. However, if you still have some money to spare, you can choose a beautiful piece of artwork, or arrange some family photos, add flowers in an affordable but sturdy vase to add the finishing touch!
Moving on, sometimes I feel that it’s not always that a room needs a full makeover. It is possible that just a slight change can do wonders for you. If you think that this is the case with your rooms, then I have something for you too!
Step 3: Change Your Throw Pillow And Bedding!

Yes… A change as simple as that can actually work! Changing out throw pillows or your duvet can be one of the most effective small changes you can make. Selecting bedding in a color that's completely different from what you currently have can make a large impact.
White bedding is a tried-and-true favorite. White bedding works all season and maybe easily layered with a cozy wool blanket during winter and lighter boho-inspired pillows within the summer. And don’t be afraid to do out a pattern!
Talking about changes, yet another thing involves my mind… make an attempt to
Step 4: Switch It Up!
Changing the layout of the bedroom is so cost-effective that it’s free! With a bit of time and energy, you'll be able to give your space a full vogue just by changing the location of your furniture. once you are moving things around, consider omitting a number of the unnecessary pieces. Less is commonly more.Alleviating extra furniture pieces can help to open up space and make it feel more airy. Even, just changing the direction that your bed faces can make all the difference in creating a replacement orientation for your room. For an impactful change, you can consider changing your bedside lighting. It can be as simple as switching out your existing lampshades or you can consider swapping out your bedside lamps or adding an extra cushion…Afterall who doesn’t like to read in bed?
I'm super happy with the results! I think having a really helped me narrow down what I wanted. Shopping online and sticking to my budget also helped me avoid impulsively buying unnecessary things. Plus, it had been truly fantastic to invest in a fun project amid all that has turned out to be wonderful!
